We are proud to cater to the diverse dietary needs and preferences of our UChicago community. All four of our dining commons are equipped with certified Kosher kitchens (certified by the Chicago Rabbinical Council) for those adhering to Kosher dietary practices.
We also offer a diverse Halal station at each dining commons, certified by the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA), so students following Halal diets always have options.
For vegetarian choices, a variety of options are available in all of our dining commons. Our Rooted station features a wide array of delicious fully vegan options as well. Look for the “V” icon for Vegetarian items, and “VG” for Vegan items on our signage in the dining commons.
If you have food allergies, intolerances, or need personalized assistance, please engage with our Campus Dietitian.
