Partnerships may vary by year and academic requirements.
UChicago Dining partners directly with accredited academic and clinical programs to support supervised practice rotations for dietetic interns. We do not accept inquiries or placement requests from individual students.
Universities or dietetic internship program directors interested in exploring partnership opportunities are welcome to contact UChicago Dining to discuss program alignment and rotation availability. All internship placements must be coordinated and approved through the sponsoring program.
UChicago Dining has served as a supervised practice rotation site for dietetic interns since the 2018–19 academic year. Through partnerships with accredited university and clinical programs, we provide applied learning experiences that complement didactic coursework and clinical training.
As a non‑sponsoring rotation site, UChicago Dining offers hands‑on exposure to the operational, educational, and community‑focused aspects of campus dining within a complex higher‑education environment. Our rotations are designed to support professional growth while advancing nutrition, wellness, and access initiatives across the University.
UChicago Dining does not sponsor or administer dietetic internship programs. Internship sponsorship, accreditation, and credentialing requirements are maintained by the participating universities or clinical programs.
Our role is to serve as a supervised practice site, offering structured, project‑based rotation experiences guided by experienced dining and nutrition leadership.
