About Tameka:
Tameka joined UChicago Dining in December 2012 and currently leads the Dining Operations Team. She brings 30 years of experience in the culinary field, including more than 20 years in culinary management, with leadership experience across higher education, K–12, nonprofit organizations, and food manufacturing. Tameka holds two degrees in hospitality.
Her experience working both back of house and in client-facing leadership roles allows her to manage effectively, bridge operational and strategic priorities, and support the department’s mission from a well-rounded perspective.
Outside of UCD, Tameka is a French classical trained chef. She enjoys spending time with loved ones, being a full-time mom, binge-watching TV, and occasionally bowling.
